Educational Experience
KPI Engineering, Inc. had completed hundreds of projects for educational clients from small renovations to large freestanding facilities for k-12 and Universities. We also have had continuing MEP services contracts with several Florida school districts: Hillsborough County School Board, Clay County School Board, Highlands County School Board, Lake County School Board, Pinellas County School Board and Volusia County School Board.

Clay County School Board Prototype Elementary Schools
Construction Cost: $19,500,000/each
Size: 125,000 SF/each
KPI provided MEP design for three new 125,000 sf elementary schools. The projects include a hurricane protected area with partial cooking capacity and air conditioning with full generator back-up. The air conditioning system consists of two chillers serving air handling units including dedicated outside units. The building is fully sprinkled with a wet-pipe fire sprinkler system.
